Democrat precinct meeting March 11 at Yancey Library

On Saturday, March 11, at 1 p.m. upstairs at the Yancey Library, all Yancey County Democrats are urged to come and help organize their precinct.  

This includes choosing a chairperson, vice-chair, and secretary, as well as developing a list of volunteers to help throughout the next two-year election cycle.  

The purpose of this important meeting is to elect officers and delegates who will represent the precinct at county party meetings and help coordinate all the grassroots work.  Each precinct needs a minimum of five members present to do the voting and make the plans.  Please come and let your thoughts be heard.

The library is located at School Circle across from the Board of Education office.
